Our Lead Pastors

Adrian & Leigh Wright

Adrian and Leigh Wright are the lead pastors of The Life Church – South Africa situated in the Northern Suburbs of Johannesburg, one of the biggest cities in Africa.

For Adrian, ministry began as early as his High School years when at the end of Grade 11 he started writing Bible courses and teaching them to the students at his school. This led to many young people at his school encountering God and the experience awakened in him a deep desire for ministry.

After school, Adrian studied Theology and started lecturing at a local Bible College while also serving as a Youth Pastor and ministering in High Schools and Universities across the city, seeing many more young people come to Christ.

After a decade in youth ministry and some time as an executive pastor, Adrian founded Anchor Church Joburg in 2015 with the heart to make a difference in South Africa. It’s during this time that he met his wife Leigh who joined the church and started serving as a leader in the women’s ministry and creative team.

Together, they lead the church for almost 9 years before joining Ps. John and Leslie Siebeling and The Life Church global family in 2024.

Adrian and Leigh love serving the local and global church, preaching the gospel, making disciples and equipping leaders. When they’re not building church, they spend most of their time raising their four children and enjoying the many adventures of Africa.

Our Senior Pastors

John & Leslie Siebeling

John and Leslie Siebeling are the founders and senior pastors of The Life Church, a thriving, diverse body of believers committed to serving people, developing leaders and impacting generations. Their passion for building God’s House began early, faithfully volunteering in their local church as young people in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. After serving for many years, John became the college pastor at his local church until he and Leslie moved to Kenya, Africa as missionaries.

While in Kenya, John and Leslie served as a part of the pastoral staff of Nairobi Lighthouse Church, a church reaching thousands of people each week and making a significant impact in Africa. John and Leslie’s time in Africa left an imprint on their hearts that dramatically impacted their view on life and church and further developed their passion for other cultures. It was during this time that God stirred their hearts to return to the States with a vision to start a life-giving church.

John and Leslie consider it one their greatest honors to pastor The Life Church and the thousands of people who call it their church home. In addition to leading The Life Church, John has authored several books and various resources designed to help grow people and build the Church around the world. John and Leslie also lead the Make Room Pastors Network, an environment designed to coach and equip other pastors and leaders to build healthy churches and reach more people.

John and Leslie approach life with faith and optimism about the future and have two amazing children, Anna and Mark.
